The Premier League have now opened voting for the Manager, Player and Goal of the Month awards for November.

Four Managers find themselves shortlisted following the November fixtures of the Premier League season, so battling for the fourth Manager award of 2016/17, and with the PremierLeague.com’s reasoning behind the choices, are:

Antonio Conte (Chelsea) P3 W3 GF8 GA1 GD+7
Conte’s side continued where they left off in October by extending their winning streak to seven matches. Three straight victories lifted them from fourth place to top of the Premier League table over the course of the month, strengthening Conte’s claims to win the manager award for a second month running.

Chelsea 5-0 Everton; Middlesbrough 0-1 Chelsea; Chelsea 2-1 Spurs

Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) P3 W2 D1 GF5 GA3 GD+2
City remained in the title hunt, responding to a stoppage-time equaliser against Middlesbrough, which cost them two points, with back-to-back away victories. Two goals by Yaya Toure and three from Sergio Aguero ensured Guardiola’s side remained on track, only a point off the league summit.

Man City 1-1 Middlesbrough; Crystal Palace 1-2 Man City; Burnley 1-2 Man City

Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) P3 W2 D1 GF8 GA1 GD+7
The winner of September’s award is in the hunt for another after Liverpool claimed two victories in November, the 6-1 win over Watford being the standout display. The Reds have produced more goals than any team so far this season and are still in title contention, lying only a point off top spot.

Liverpool 6-1 Watford; Southampton 0-0 Liverpool; Liverpool 2-0 Sunderland

David Moyes (Sunderland) P3 W2 L1 GF5 GA3 GD+2
After a disappointing start to the campaign the Black Cats got up and running in November, with their first victory of the season, over AFC Bournemouth, swiftly followed by another. Though still bottom, Moyes’s men are now only three points from safety, as opposed to eight at the start of the month.

AFC Bournemouth 1-2 Sunderland; Sunderland 3-0 Hull; Liverpool 2-0 Sunderland

Fans have until 11.59pm on December 5 to register their votes, and those votes (10%) will be included with the choices of the awards panel.

A shortlist of six has also been selected for the Player of the Month award:

Sergio Aguero (Man City)
The striker struck three goals, including two at Burnley that turned the match round. He is the joint-leading scorer in the league.

Diego Costa (Chelsea)
Costa’s two goals and two assists helped Chelsea continue their unbeaten run. After a goal against Everton, Costa broke a stubborn Middlesbrough defence with the only goal at the Riverside. His run and cross also created Chelsea’s winner against Tottenham Hotspur.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United)
Ibrahimovic played twice but scored on three occasions, his two goals against Swansea City helping United return to winning ways. He also struck the equaliser at home to West Ham United in Matchweek 13.

Pedro (Chelsea)
Revitalised in Antonio Conte’s new formation, Pedro was one of their key creators and scorers last month, scoring twice, including the crucial goal before half-time that started the fightback against Tottenham Hotspur.

Matt Phillips (West Bromwich Albion)
The West Brom midfielder had a stellar month, scoring twice and setting up three other goals. He scored and assisted in each of the wins against Leicester City and Burnley and provided the assist for the goal at Hull City.

Jordan Pickford (Sunderland)
The Sunderland goalkeeper’s saves at AFC Bournemouth were a key factor in securing the club’s first Premier League win of the season and he repeated the heroics the next matchweek in the home win against Hull.

Fans have until 11.59pm on December 5 to register their votes, and those votes will be included with the choices of the awards panel and the decisions of Premier League captains.
