The Championship season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Ipswich maintained their 100% start when coming from behind to beat Barnsley – who have lost both games so far – at Oakwell to remain one of the early season pacesetters. They are joined by the likes of Nottingham Forest who came through a seven goal thriller at Griffin Park as Forest edged out Brentford 4-3.

Another Cardiff win, as Neil Warnock’s side stunned Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa 3-0, meant the Bluebirds are the early Championship leaders though.

Hull’s convincing victory at the KCOM Stadium sees them in the top-six with Burton bottom of the league following this 4-1 defeat – it could be a difficult second season for Nigel Clough’s Brewers?

Saturday’s schedule was rounded off with Middlesbrough recorded a first win of the season as Sheffield United, who didn’t suffer too many defeats in the League One championship winning campaign, were seen off at the Riverside Stadium in the evening kick off.

Here’s a round-up of the Championship results with one game to take place.
