Q: When did you become a Sunderland fan and why?

I first attended a game when I was aged about 3 year old and cant remember not supporting SAFC. My dad has also been a lifelong fan so I suppose it was just natural progression

Q: The season just gone, good bad or ugly? What did you think of it?

The season gone was another huge step in the progression of the club on and off the field. The squad of players is the best we have had in my lifetime and I still cant believe how quickly Bruce rooted out and god rid of the majority of the deadwood we had on the clubs books. Obviosuly the long winless run was a big black mark on the season but loss of form to key players, injuries and suspensions were all big factors in this.

Q: Best and worst moment of last season?

Best moment – The win against Bolton at home was probably the most important as pressure was really starting to build and 90 minutes later things looked good again.

Worst moment – Conceding that last minute equaliser down Pompey really hurt and also Jones missed pen against Villa in the cup.

Q: Kenwyne Jones… is he off do you think? If so, what price (realistically) should Sunderland hold out for?

I dont think Jones will go, he isnt champions league standard so you look at the other clubs above us and think what clubs could afford or want him?
In todays market we should be looking for a minimum of 12 million if he were to move on,

Q: What signings (type of player or specific name/s if you wish) would you like to see Sunderland buy this summer?

We need pace and flair especially in the wide area’s and are desperate for quality defenders.

Two new fullbacks are a must (Hutton and Taiwo would be nice)
A centre half (dreaming of a fit John Mensah)
Two wide players (Nzogbia and Bentley)
No reason we cant look for a good cup run and a top ten finish with those on board.

Q: Where do you stand on Steve Bruce(I don’t mean literally, that would be assault) ?

A real ‘football manager’, just what we needed when Keane left. The players he has brought in are head and shoulders above what were at the club when he was appointed. I still cant believe a minority of people still dont want him because of his ‘geordie roots’. These idiots havent a clue about football which such a narrow minded view and must forget where a certain Bob Stokoe was born. Bruce turned the mags down at least twice over the last few years showing he’s not a died in the wool geordie like Shearer etc. Over the next few years Im positive we will go from strength to strength.

Q: Your opinion of Quinny and Ellis Short?

Niall Quinn is a legend, what more can you say about the man. The saviour of wearside as the club was heading down and was there a way back!

Ellis Short is just what you want as a club owner, someone who sits quietly in the background but at the same time has a huge passion and hunger to suceed. When you see the antics of a certain chairman just along the road, it shows how lucky we are.

Q: Favourite current player and favourite all time player/s

Favourite all time player – SKP (best player ever saw in red and white)
Current Player – Always loved a goalscorer since following the lads and Bent has a knack of putting the ball in the back of the net.

Q: Do you expect progress next season, difficult to answer before the transfer window closes I know?

Really confident of another season of progression, just cant see us hitting a slump like we did last season and also think we should pick more points up away from home. The ‘quality not quantity’ comment from Quinn and Bruce should put us in good stead.

Q: Right, lets lower the tone… which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!

Alica Quays – (The ultimate female)

Cannot stand Steven Taylor of the scum for various reasons, would have no hesitation in tossing over the size 11’s
