The EFL Trophy continues this midweek with the latest group matches played.

Previous results

Tuesday 31st October
Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Scunthorpe United 19:30
(Doncaster win 3-2 on penalties)
AFC Wimbledon 1-2 Luton Town 19:45
Bristol Rovers 1-3 West Ham United U21 19:45
Forest Green Rovers 0-2 Swansea City U21 19:45

Wednesday 1st November
Blackpool 4-1 Middlesbrough U21 19:00
Charlton Athletic 3-2 Fulham U21 19:45

Among the schedule is one for us of course so the hope will be that this can result in a win.

Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw in the latest group game and that would mean a penalty shootout to determine a winner.

Many League One and League Two clubs will be looking to claim U21 scalps again – Newcastle, West Brom, Reading, Leicester, Southampton, Brighton, Stoke and Sunderland’s ‘youngsters’ facing trips to Football League clubs.
