Grant Leadbitter and Dean Whitehead are injured for Sunderland`s preseason tour of Ireland.
Deano is out with a foot Injury while Grant is out with a knee injury.
However they are both expected to play some part in the tour and will travel.
I am presuming this means the injuries are not that serious and therefore shouldn`t effect the club`s start to the new season.
I think it would be a big blow to lose Whitehead for the start of the new season.
For me he has been one of our top performer`s for the past three years.
