Turner, who scored his first against his ex-club Hull City has had to wait over 6 weeks to get his second goal of the season.

Sunderland lost at St. Andrews 2-1 in October but Sunderland’s late consolation goal had to be referred to the committee for final assessment.

The English centre half will be hoping this is the first piece of good news this week as he waits to see if he is suspended for three games after his dismissal against Man City on Saturday. Sunderland lodged their official appeal to the FA today and hope the player gets off with what looks like a bad decision from Andre Marriner.

As soon as the news breaks we will be looking to get it on to Vital Sunderland as we head into a massive match against struggling Everton.
