Sunderland winger joins Preston

Sunderland winger Ross Wallace has joined Preston North End on loan for the season.

Wallace who turned down a permanent move to Preston last month has decided on a loan move which can turn into a permanent deal should both parties want it in January.

Wallace was one of Keane`s first signings for Sunderland with him and Stan Varga joining from Celtic.

Vital Sunderland Says

It`s a shame to see him leave I don`t think he would be first choice to play on the wing or left back but I think his pace is great for coming of the bench.

I always felt his introduction during games helped us create something when we were struggling to break down teams.
