Michael Ledger, Max Stryjek and Papy Djilobodji have all departed Sunderland on loan deals.

Youngster Ledger will get his first taste of English football as he heads to Hartlepool United on a loan deal that will last until the end of the current campaign.

He spent the end of last season out with Viking Stavanger in Norway to gain experience, and now the 20 year old will get a taste of the National League.

Polish goalkeeper Stryjek heads to Accrington Stanley on a season long loan move as well. Having featured for the first team during our pre season build up, the 21 year old Under 21 international should have a good experience out with Accrington in League Two.

Finally, Djilobodji has now departed Sunderland for a loan spell with Dijon FCO.

The deal is again for the full campaign and the Senegalese defender makes the switch to the French Ligue 1 side, however there is no confirmation as to whether there is a permanent buy clause in place for next summer.
