Sunderland Start Search With United Trio

In the last few moments Sunderland have launched an incredible triple bid for Manchester United players.

With Henderson and Bent’s departures this has created over £40m to play with as we look to rebuild and strengthen for next season.

Bruce has turned to his former club as a player and asked Sir Alex Ferguson if he can have three players for £12m.

The three players are suggested to be John O’Shea, Darron Gibson and Wes Brown.

This could be a great coup and puts into context why the Henderson deal is helping the club grow stronger. We are currently trying to buy three excellent players with experience and still get change out of the deal!

As soon as anything else happens or changes we will update our Vital Sunderland readers when they occur.

Three excellent players – are you sure?

Gibson has potential and played brilliantly in the Champions league semi final, he may just need a new club and confidence. O’Shea and Brown are what we need badly – experience to pull us through bad results.

I cannot understand why we would let O’Shea leave, I for one would like us to hang on to him but the other two, Gibson and Brown, you can have we will even wrap them up for you. A new club may just be what Gibson needs to improve his game and show people why he was so highly rated as a youth team player

O’Shea I can’t imagine you getting. His ability to play anywhere on the pitch combined with his attitude to be a squad player and play his heart when on the pitch makes him a valuable asset. Brown you will most probably get, on his day he’s a brilliant CB. Gibson i’m not sure about. Given a good run in the team he might live up to his potential or may just be a late developer like Fletcher was. Perhaps a loan would be the best option for now.
