Sunderland Manager Wants Points

Roy Keane is looking for Sunderland start collecting points rather than praise for good performances. He told safc.com “You should believe you can get something from every Premier League game”

“But when you go to Arsenal, United, Liverpool and Chelsea, they are the four grounds when it is going to be very difficult.”

“It would have been nice to get something out of the game, it would have been a great bonus to us and we went close.”

“There were plenty of positives – we played relatively well away from home but no points and we conceded one or two bad goals.”

“We move on and focus on the next game now and it`s important that we try to get something out of it”

Keane is right we need to start getting points on the board and soon. If we don`t start turning performances in to points it going to be a long hard season. Saying that I think there are lot other teams in the league who aren`t as good as us.

Yes we could do with some points but I wouldn’t start to panic just yet

No doubt we need to start picking up points, the worrying thing is that we are turning out good performances against the top clubs but failing to get any points. I know it is ood to see us competing but if we get nowt out of them then it is going to be a dogfight again. I think we will see the points start coming in over the next few games.
