Former Hull City striker Diame N`Doye is set for a medical today at Sunderland and the club hope to sign the striker on a loan deal until the end of the season.

According to Teamtalk.com, Sunderland have agreed to sign the Senegalese international on loan as Sam Allardyce looks for much needed goals from his side.

The former Hull player is currently at Turkish club Trabzonspor, the club he joined from the Tigers last summer for £2.2 million.

Now, at the age of 30, he has been unable to command a regular place in the side at Trabzonspor due to his lack of goals and now they are set to loan the player out.

N’Doye scored five times for Hull in 15 games before their relegation to the Championship.

Does anyone else think that this is a waste of time signing? I dont see him suddenly getting good and scoring goals. I know we cant get the best players, but this bloke is a no-hoper
