Sunderland came from behind to record an impressive win over Spurs on Wednesday to book their place in the Asia Trophy Final.

Spurs had taken the lead through Gylfi Sigurdsson but new signing Cabral levelled for the Black Cats shortly after before Wes Brown, who had been out injured for more than a year, headed home around the midway point of the second half.

The game, that had been delayed for half an hour following a heavy downpour in Hong Kong, should have been settled by another new signing late on but Jozy Altidore was denied by Brad Friedel.

A 3-1 win was wrapped up by yet another of the summer signings David Moberg Karlsson in the last minute though.

Vito Mannone, who made a couple of very good saves, and Emanuele Giaccherini were also given bows by Paolo Di Canio following summer arrivals.
