Sent to Coventry on opening day…

Sunderland will begin life in the Championship with an away game at Coventry.

The first game of the season will kick off on Saturday 5th August, with a home game against Birmingham only 3 days later on the Tuesday night.

Other notable fixtures include a home tie against Leeds United on boxing day while Leicester entertain us on New Years Day.

Sunderland’s final game of the season will be away at Luton Town on Sunday, May 6th.
