Goalkeeper Martin Fulop and striker David Healy will face eachother at Windsor Park tonight as Northern Ireland take on Hungary.

Both Teemu Tainio and Liam Miller will be looking to get some first team action as Finland face off against Switzerland and Republic of Ireland host Poland in tonights friendlies.

Kenwyne Jones and Dwight Yorke are in the squad for Trinidads World Cup Qualifier against Cuba. Jones will be looking to continue his goal scoring form, after 2 goals in his last 2 games, and avoid injury, which he sustained in his last run out for his country, against England.

Both George McCartney and Craig Gordon have withdrawn from their respective squads due to injury. Although Djibril Cisse was named in the preliminary squad for France’s game against Uruguay, he didn’t make the cut.

You guys are lucky you don’t have more away, and that Cisse escapes the ordeal this time. It won’t be long before Keane (“I loved playing internationals for Ireland”) takes a leaf from Fergie’s books and schedules knocks and niggles for all the key players at threat.

haha i know mate. I personally don’t see the point in mid season friendlies, and i don’t know many people who do. Too many injuries, i mean look at Walcott yesterday, out for three month now.
