Leeds boss Uwe Rosler says that he will be hoping to sign winger Will Buckley on a permanent deal for Leeds at the end of his loan period.

The deal to take Buckley to Elland Road on loan will be started after the weekend although the player is already training with the club.

The deal will see Buckley stay with Leeds until January, but Rosler fully intends to make that deal a permanent one.

He told the Sunderland Echo: “Hopefully we`ll get a permanent (deal). That`s what we always try to do when we loan a player.

“We`re very happy that we`ve got him on loan with a view to be here throughout the whole season. That`s our target and Will`s target too.”
