The referee for this weekend’s FA Cup tie against Fulham will be Cheshire based Anthony Taylor.
Earlier in the season Taylor was the referee in Sunderland’s 0-0 draw with Burnley and in December he was back to officiate the Tyne-Wear derby which Sunderland won 1-0.
Eight yellow cards were shown that afternoon of which four went to Sunderland players John O’Shea, Seb Coates, Lee Cattermole and Connor Wickham.
Including the two Sunderland games, Taylor has been in charge of 20 games in which he has shown an amazing 80 yellow cards and three red.
Taylor will be assisted by Michael Salisbury and Mark Dwyer, the fourth official will be Andrew Madeley.
This fool is going to finish on something like 150 yellows by the end of the season.
Dont care if he shows 500 so long as he brings us luck again
What luck? That wasnt luck against the barcodes, that was a stroke of pure genius
