Wirral based referee Mike Dean is the man in charge of Sunderland’s FA Cup tie with Leeds United.

Sunderland fans will remember that Dean was last at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday 23rd of September when he took charge of Stoke City’s 2-1 win in the Capital One cup.

John O’Shea, Liam Bridcutt, Jack Rodwell and Jozy Altidore were shown yellow cards, plus Stoke players Robert Huth, Steven Nzonzi and Marko Arnautovic.

So far this season Dean has been in charge of 17 games and given out an incredible 55 yellows and five red.

Assistant Referees for the game will be Simon Bennett and Paul Marsden while the Fourth Official will be Scott Mathieson.
