The limited extra tickets on sale this morning were snapped up in under an hour for the away trip to Preston.

After Sunderland had sold their initial allocation of just under 5,500 for the match at Deepdale on the 14th October, they negotiated with Preston for a further 600 tickets to be made available this morning at 10am.

Demand was high, and the tickets were all within an hour. It means Sunderland will be taking around 6,000 fans to Deepdale in an amazing show of support.

Here’s hoping they’ll return home feeling their trip was worthwhile.
