With Chelsea’s 11 game winning streak propelling them to the top of the Premier League table as we go into 2017, there’s been plenty of coverage of the ‘best’ winning streaks in Premier League history since the top flight was rebranded and had money thrown at it in ever increasing sums since 1992, but here’s a slightly different take on winning streaks.
It’s a clubs’ best ever winning streak in their history in the Premier League.
For some teams their best winning streak is obviously a little more recent than for others in the top flight given its current make up, and there is of course quite a difference between what a winning streak would mean – Chelsea sit on 11 so far this year with Boxing Day games still to come and the remaining fixtures before we tick into the New Year but Burnley’s best ever was only back to back victories the last time they were in the top flight.
So it’s very relative but each winning streak is an achievement for each side depending on how many games it lasted for – irrespective for some what year it actually came in!
So, from top to bottom, here are each clubs longest winning runs in the Premier League.
