Premier League Free Agents 2018

As the summer nears and contracts come to an end, should the club have an interest in any of the following free transfers from Premier League oppositions?

I haven’t done the legwork on this one, polite nod to transfermarkt.co.uk – so I take no blame!

A number of players find themselves out of contract this coming summer and there are some big names involved on the list. Some have announced their retirements however but could be tempted by another year, and some deals have fresh contract options available to be taken up should that club wish. It should be noted the list includes some season long loan deals, but it remains to be seen if buy options will be taken up where appropriate.

So with the caveat of not believing any of these have signed new deals, announced their retirement or already pre contracted themselves to anybody else (discussions may well be underway though) in the time between penning and publishing, are there any you’d like to see line up in your shirt for the 2018/19 campaign?

(Any glaring errors feel free to point out in article comments!)

Some young potentials for the future – experienced internationals maybe ready for one final challenge?

There are certainly plenty of recognisable names – but of course they come with financial commitments even as free transfers.

Or alternatively are there any you would avoid with somebody else’s bargepole!
