Poyet Remains Keen On Rodwell.

Sunderland are supposed to be the most likely club to sign Jack Rodwell from Manchester City if you believe the reports in the papers.

Since joining City in 2012 from Everton, Rodwell has struggled to hold down a regular place in the first team squad and now that Frank Lampard arriving at the Eitihad, Rodwell will drop further down the pecking order which paves the way for Gus Poyet to try and get the 23 year old.

But even though Poyet is keen on Rodwell, according to the Daily Mail. West Brom and Southampton are also monitoring the situation.

Rodwell cost City £12 million.
