Sunderland’s unpredictability is still making boss Gus Poyet ponder as to what to do next.

Poyet’s main concern for the moment is how to stop his side from making basic errors which have cost the club dearly points-wise at times.

‘The fans are commenting because they care about the club the same way that I care.’ – Gus Poyet

And this is still apparent even though there has been hard work put in on the training ground to try and stop it from happening.

It looked like Poyet had managed to address the problems with some success when the club went on a four game unbeaten run, but that all came tumbling down after the visit of Queens Park Rangers to the Stadium of Light last week.

Poyet spoke after that game saying that it was a ‘typical Sunderland’ performance.

Now, ahead of the FA Cup fifth round tie with Bradford at Valley Parade, Poyet has told reporters: ‘I know that there are things that need to change.

‘The word ‘change’ brings nerves and drama, and sometimes you need to go through that period with a little bit of calmness, and that’s what I am going to try to bring.

‘There is no better way of doing that than winning. If you win, it’s easier to change and to bring something positive into the team.

‘The fans are commenting because they care about the club the same way that I care. I can promise you I care more than anyone because I am the one leading the team out.’
