Christian Eriksen scored another late goal for Tottenham which saw the London outfit leapfrog Arsenal in the Premiership table.

And Pochettino insisted his team deserved to snatch the win.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Spurs boss said: ‘I think we played much better than Sunderland during the game and in the second half I think we were the better team.

“I don`t want to talk about top four; I want to talk about the next game. I think we need to keep working and our mentality is right. And we showed a good character today and we need to keep going.”
