The Premier League have now confirmed the groups and the fixture lists for this year’s Under 23 International Cup competition.

Following changes to the Development set up, the International Cup is now a regular feature for some Under 23 sides, and last season the overall trophy was won by FC Porto.

The competition is made up of 12 Premier League 2 sides and 12 Under 23 sides from Elite Academies across Europe, and those sides are split into six groups of four to give youngsters the broadest experience of different playing playing styles.

The six group winners and two best runners up qualify for the quarter finals and all knockout ties are one game affairs.

The groups this year are:

Group A:
Sparta Praha, Liverpool, Newcastle United, PSV Eindhoven

Group B:
Hertha BSC, Legia Warsaw, Leicester City, Sunderland

Group C:
Derby County, GNK Dinamo Zagreb, Everton, VfL Wolfsburg

Group D:
Athletic Club Bilbao, Celtic FC, Manchester United, Swansea City

Group E:
Arsenal, FC Bayern Munich, FC Porto, Reading

Group F:
SL Benfica, Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal CF, West Ham United
