Crystal Palace and Sunderland have both now confirmed the loan agreement for Welsh midfielder Jonny Williams.
Earlier this evening it was known that agreement had been struck between both parties for a season long loan spell to take place and both clubs have now independently confirmed that the paperwork went through ahead of the closure of the transfer window.
23 year old Williams as plenty of experience in the Championship having made his Palace debut back in 2011 and helping them to promotion two years later. He’s also taken in loan experience with Ipswich Town, Nottingham Forest and MK Dons – in total he has 87 Championship games under his belt.
He also carries 17 caps for Wales following his debut in 2013 and he will link up with his new colleagues following September’s international action.
