Pair get England call

Sunderland’s Jordan Henderson and on loan star, Danny Welbeck have both been drafted in to Stuart Pearce’s latest Under 21 squad.

The 31 man squad will now prepare for a double header against Denmark and Iceland.

Henderson was also in Pearce’s last squad after returning to the under 21s following his promotion to Fabio Capello’s full England squad last year.

Welbeck returns to the England youngsters after missing three months with injury.
