Phil Bardsley has been a “former” Sunderland player, for all intent and purpose, for sometime now. However, he remains contracted to the club but does have options.
The Scottish international hopes to get his future sorted soon and the Gazette reports that a number of clubs, including Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday, are in the hunt for him.
These two clubs are currently said to be “leading the chase” for the defender.
