Long-serving defender Nyron Nosworthy has this afternoon joined Watford for an undisclosed fee.
Nosworthy joins Watford on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The former Gillingham defender arrived on Wearside on a free transfer in 2005 and went on to make over 100 league appearances as a Black Cat.
Nosworthy, 31, was part of the Roy Keane re-building job that helped the club back into the Premier League.
Since Steve Bruce’s appointment, the Brixton-born Jamaican international has been out of favour, taking in two loan spells at Sheffield United and three months with Watford.
Thanks for everything Nyron and good luck!
