After sitting through a dvd of the game at Southampton earlier this season when the Saints beat Sunderland 8-0 Dick Advocaat is confident that it wont happen again.

Its the time of year when nothing is certain on the football field as teams scrap for points to improve their final position in the table, whether that bet to help get away from the foot of the table or gain another place in the league for a few thousand more greenbacks for the owners.

Advocaat meets up again with Ronald Koeman, now in charge of the team at St Mary’s and was the man who used to captain of the Dutch national squad when he was in charge of the side.

Advocaat did not feel the need to make his squad sit and watch highlight of that embarrassing day, but he says it wont happen again this weekend.

The Dutchman told reporters: ‘I don’t think it’s a good idea to discuss that game again. I saw the game two days ago – we gave the goals away really, really easily and definitely that will not happen tomorrow.

‘Own goals, some mistakes from the goalie, some mistakes from the defence, I didn’t think you could make that many mistakes in one game.

‘By the way, it was quite a lucky day for Southampton, the way we gave the goals away – that will definitely not happen on Saturday.’
