Sunderland have decided against making Sulley Muntari`s move from Inter Milan permanent.
The Ghanaian`s agent Fabien Piveteau, has claimed that SAFC believe his wages are too high. He said: “There is no chance at Sunderland for Sulley. They have decided he is too expensive.”
Muntari is thought to be on a wage of around £70,000 at Inter Milan and would likely be reluctant to lower his demands. As well as extortionate wages, the midfielder`s performances in a red and white shirt have been a major disappointment.
Casual, lacklustre displays have led to much frustration from the Sunderland faithful, especially after his dismal showing against Fulham on Saturday.
