Goalkeeper Steward Ceus of the Colorado Rapids is training with Sunderland currently.

The 25 year-old Haitian international, who plays for the MLS Rapids, is currently training with the Black Cats according to his Twitter.

New York-born Ceus tweeted on Sunday:

@StewC_AllDay ‘Made it to Sunderland safely…cab driver was a huge help.’

He followed that up earlier today:

@StewC_AllDay ‘Headed to my first training sessio with Sunderland…cold and rainy.’

Ceus has made just three MLS appearances for the Rapids in his three seasons with the franchise after being drafted from Albany in the 2009 MLS Superdraft.

After finding himself on the bench more often than not in Colorado, Ceus spent the 2009-10 season on loan with Charlotte Eagles of the USL Second Division, making 13 appearances.

The website Burgundy Wave suggests that no deal is likely to be strike between the Rapids and the Black Cats and that this is merely an opportunity for Ceus to train with Premier League outfit.
