The speculated deal between West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland for Callum McManaman has now been confirmed.

Earlier in the evening it was known that West Brom and Sunderland were close to a deal for the former Wigan Athletic winger and although the confirmation of the permanent switch came in following the closure of the transfer window, the deal is done and dusted.

McManaman makes the move from The Hawthorns to the Stadium of Light for an undisclosed fee and West Brom simply wish him the best for his future after he found game time limited after a disagreement with head coach Tony Pulis about how easily or not he may go down as he nears the penalty box.

The 26 year old has now signed a new two year deal with Sunderland that will run until the summer of 2019.
