Sunderland confirmed their third capture of the January window a short time ago and it comes in the shape of Liverpool’s Ovie Ejaria.

The talented 20 year old will bolster Chris Coleman’s attacking options for the remainder of the season and having come through Arsenal’s academy, he made the switch to Merseyside in 2014.

Jurgen Klopp was quickly impressed and handed him his debut in a friendly against Tranmere Rovers in 2016 and he then featured heavily during their pre season plans and having been named on the bench against Chelsea, he made his debut in a three nil win over Derby County in the Cup. A month later he made his starting bow in the competition as they faced Tottenham Hotspur, with Watford being his Premier League bow.

He knows Jake Clarke-Salter well as he was in the England Under 20 team that lifted the 2017 Under 20 World Cup.

Speaking to the Official Site he explained.

‘I`m really happy because I`ve wanted to go out on loan for a while to get regular first-team football under my belt. I`d say that I`m a player that likes to get on the ball quite a lot and make things happen, I`ll try to create chances and hopefully score some goals as well. I`ll always give one hundred percent and work hard for the team.’
