Jeremain Lens has today completed his permanent transfer to Turkish side Besiktas.

Having first come to Sunderland and the Stadium of Light back in the summer of 2015 for £8million he leaves the club having made 16 starting appearances with a further eight from the bench. In that time he contributed four goals.

Having played in only two matches last season, he was shipped out on a season long loan deal to Fenerbahce, and the club confirmed earlier today that after two years on Wearside he now departs the club for an undisclosed fee.

The 29 year old has reportedly signed for around the £4.5million mark.
