Manchester United’s third-choice ‘keeper, Tomasz Kuszczak is being linked with a loan move to the Stadium of Light.

Steve Bruce is believed to be in the market for a loan ‘keeper following Simon Mignolet’s injury at the weekend with no other senior ‘keeper fit.

The Sunderland Echo have reported that youngster Ben Wilson will be in line to take a place on the bench against United on Saturday.

However, multiple sources are now suggesting 29 year-old Polish stopper Kuszczak will make a temporary move to the Stadium of Light after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Kuszczak is now third choice behind David De Gea and Anders Lindergaard with youngster Ben Amos seemingly also ahead of the former West Brom stopper.

It seems an odd time for Sir Alex Ferguson to be lending Bruce a player though with the two sides clashing this weekend. Premier League rules would mean Kuszczack would be unable to feature for the Black Cats though.
