Sunderland travel to Valley Parade on Sunday to take on Bradford City in the FA Cup fifth round, the referee for that game will be Kevin Friend.

Kevin Friend

22 games

96 yellow cards

3 red cards.

This will be the third time that Friend has taken charge of a Sunderland game this season, having already been to the Stadium of light twice to oversee Sunderland v Arsenal which ended 0-2 and six players booked.

The other time was the end of November when Chelsea were the visitors and that game ended 0-0 with five bookings.

So far this season Friend has been in charge of 22 games and in that time has shown 96 yellow cards and three red.

Assisting Friend on Sunday will be Simon Beck and Lee Betts. The fourth official will be Christopher Kavenagh.
