Sunderland Manager Roy Keane has told how he hasn`t brought Graham Kavanagh back from Sheffield Wednesday to play for the second string.
He told safc.com “You can see that Kav has had the benefit of the games and he will come into contention for City game, it`s good to have him back.”
Brian Laws has been ringing me every 10 minutes, he wants Kav back but he is a Sunderland player and as much as we want to help other clubs, we need to help our selves first. I`ve not brought him back to play in the reserves.”

I am pleased to see Kav back at the club he will add much needed experience and quality to our midfield. Hopefully he will be involved on Monday against Manchester City.

Halleluljah, its good to have one of our better midfielders back at the club – Id be even more tempted to drop Etuhu into CB and replace him midfield with Kav.
