‘Seb is very professional and he has the ability to recover very quickly.’ – Gus Poyet |
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has revealed that the damage to his ankle picked up in the draw with Aston Villa is not as bad as first thought.
Larsson is expected to return to training tomorrow which is ahead of schedule.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Poyet said: “Seb looks like he is going to train tomorrow which is great news.
“It looked bad but Seb is very professional and he has the ability to recover very quickly.
“The ankle is a bit swollen but there is no ligament damage, so he`s going to try tomorrow and I think he has a chance of playing.”
He’s better off in the team rather than out, you never know if he could come up with something to make a difference
Sooner go to City with him than without
