Reported Liverpool target Jordan Henderson played the first half of England’s warm up match in Southampton this afternoon and came through unscathed.
Henderson impressed but was brought off after 45 minutes as rest for the forthcoming European Championships in Denmark. England won 2-0 against Norway.
According to reports, Liverpool will make a bid for the midfielder in the next few days to tie up a deal in time before the squad jet off on Wednesday.
Ex SAFC man, Danny Welbeck also played 45 minutes today.
