Greg Halford today completed his £2 Million move to Wolverhampton Wonderers.

Halford has signed a 3 year contract at Molineax in a move that will see the former Sunderland right-back play under former Sunderland manager Mimck McCarthy.

Few Sunderand fans will be disappointed to see the departure of the utility man, whilst many will be happy the the club managed to recoup £2 Million of the £3.5 Million paid to Reading for his signiture under former boss Roy Keane.

Halford is the second of Roy Keane’s big money flops to leave the club within a week, with Michael Chopra joining Cardiff in a deal worth £4 Million.

With Anthony Stokes the latest to be linked to the exit door, in a move to the Sottish Premier League, it looks like the summer could see the squad go through somewhat of an overhaul, something that many fans believe is needed to press the club away from recent relegation fights.
