Gyan is most certainly the man!

It may not have been a great day for England but for Ghana this was just what the doctor ordered, especially for Wearsiders.

Yes the man that is named Andy Carroll scored what looked to be the goal of the game was easily over shadowed by the brilliance of one Asamoah Gyan.

Throughout the friendly, he was one of those players that would not go away and pestered and harassed the England back four at a constant rate, something Steve Bruce will surely be smiling about.

Sulley Muntari and John Mensah also started for The Black Stars and Danny Welbeck also made a cameo appearance for England, much to the disappointment to the 20,000 Ghanaian fans that travelled.

It had to be, hands down, one of the most electrifying atmosphere`s that Wembley has ever experienced, it`s something about African football that makes it so, so special, it`s clear to see why the World Cup was held there.

Now let`s dissect the brilliance of Gyan’s goal, the fact that before he scored he tortured the substitute Joleon Lescott numerous times, something to look forward to next weekend for Sunderland fans.

The turn, the dummy, the finish, all three of Gyan`s touches and finish were something else, dare we say World class? Of course, not many strikers can hold the ball up like that as well as have the technical ability to stay on their feet and do skills like that, Sunderland are very lucky to have him.
