FA Extend Turner’s Ban To 4 Games!

Sunderland seem to have no luck with the FA or referee performances of late and this is the latest decision to infuriate the Sunderland fans and manager.

We would have been better off not appealing at all against a poor decision and losing Turner for 2 Premier League games rather than 3. The English centre half will also miss the FA Cup 3rd Round draw against Barrow at home on January 2nd.

This extension is surely due to Sunderland making a lot of noise about Andre Marriner’s display at Eastland’s and Bruce has also got to explain his comments he made after the defeat to the FA.

This puts a spanner in the works for Sunderland as they face Everton on Boxing Day and then Blackburn away two days later. With Mensah an injury doubt, Ferdinand ruled out, we have to make sure we put the best defence out for this crucial game on Saturday.

i honestly cant believe his ban has been exstended. i watched that tackle and in my opinion there was no intent and no malicousness. but again the FA speak we must all bow, i would put money on it that if he was playing for one of the big so called four he would not have had the ban exstended, more than likely turned over…… FA are a joke

steve bruce rant away son we are behind u

Respect campaign towards referee is an utter sham when they show no respect to the rules and players in turn.

If it’s any consolation we’ll be missing our 3 first choice centre halfs too!
