Captain Cattermole has spoke about his relief of securing 41 points last weekend but also shows his ambition by wanting more points.

‘The last five or six weeks have been a bit nervous for the fans, but we always thought we’d get there in the end,’ Cattermole told Sky Sports News.

‘Our aim now is to finish in the top 10.

‘It was a good performance last week so hopefully we can get another result this week.’

Like many SAFC supporters, he cannot believe the amount of injuries we have endured this term and hopes next season see’s very little to continue to move the club forward.

‘We don’t know what it is. We can say it’s this, that or the other, but it’s got to be addressed,’ he said.

‘The last few weeks we’ve lost players in the first half (of games) and it disturbs the team.

‘The last five or six weeks have been a bit nervous for the fans, but we always thought we’d get there in the end.

‘It doesn’t help the momentum and things like that. But hopefully we’ll have a better season without injuries next year.’
