Frazier Campbell will miss tomorrow’s trip to Fratton Park with an injured hamstring as Sunderland look to win away from home since beating Bolton on the opening day of the season.

Luckily, we will have Benjani fighting for a call up if Jones or Bent are not performing on Tuesday evening in this must win fixture.

Steve Bruce also confirmed today that Henderson could miss 4 – 6 weeks with his injury he suffered in the draw against Wigan Athletic.

Henderson was stretchered off just shortly after he set up Kenwyne Jones with a lovely cross from the right wing and he will be a big miss in the final run in to the season.

Manager Steve Bruce said: ‘Jordan will have a scan on Thursday. We are just going to let the swelling go down. It’s pointless scanning him now because of the size of his ankle.

‘We hope there’s nothing more severe than a badly twisted ankle. If that’s the case he is going to be (out for) four to six weeks, and I would have thought that would be the minimum, so we will keep our fingers crossed on Thursday.’
