Bye Bye Daryl

Steve Bruce is in line to be given the key to the City after doing what other managers have failed to do in the past. Get rid of Daryl Murphy and also make some money back for his so called talents.

Murphy, 27, who only scored 14 goals in over 110 appearances, left Sunderland to join Celtic for £1.5m.

He will be a big bonus to Neil Lennon’s team with Daryl’s ability to hold the ball up brilliantly, win the ball in the air, beat his man and also use his powering strength to hold off the defence.

Steve Bruce has now raked in £6.5m for two players as he looks to get rid of the deadwood and replace them with genuine class.

Reports are saying that Stephen Ireland will be too expensive at a price of £10m but with this money coming in we have to make a serious bid for him.

Farewell Daryl, you will be remembered for turning up in training and scoring against Wigan in our promotion hunt….but that will be all!
