Sunderland winger Will Buckley has agreed to go to Leeds United for a loan period that will see him stay at Elland Road until January 2nd.

The 93 day loan will see Buckley join up with the rest of the Leeds playing staff this week as he looks for more playing time than he stands the chance of getting at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland released a statement on their official website which said that the 25 year old’s move will be on hold until October 3rd when they take on Birmingham City at home.

Buckley joined Sunderland in August 2014 at a cost of £2.5m and he has made 24 appearances in all competitions, 14 of those as a substitute.
