Brown the next to go…

Sunderland got rid of a second mediocre striker today by selling Chris Brown to Norwich for £325,000.

Following Jon Stead’s £1.25m sale to Sheffield United this morning, a deal to take Chris ‘sexytalk’ Brown to the Canaries was completed this afternoon, for the more modest fee of £325,000.

It now means that every member (pardon the expression..) of the sex tape scandal has now left the club, with Quinn and Keane clearly taking a hard line on such activity.

Norwich boss Peter Grant told the club’s official website,

‘Chris is a big lad with great technical ability.’

Clearly Peter Grant was impressed with what he’d seen from the video he’d been sent.

‘It is rare to get the combination and he will offer us something different. He has great experience but also great potential.’

Having been told he was surplus to requirements on Wearside Brown was delighted to move to another Championship side whose ambitions for promotion match his previous club’s.

‘I am delighted to come to such a good club with an ambitious manager.

‘It’s a great platform for me and I will do my utmost to get Norwich promoted to the Premier League.’
