Big Sam says there will be no key players leaving the club in January.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce watched his side pull off an unlikely away win at Crystal Palace last night and declared that there would be no key players leaving the club in January.

Big Sam has been speaking to Eurosport and told them that the only player who is likely to move during the transfer window is former Brighton man Liam Bridcutt.

This will make the powers that be at Cardiff City and Reading sit up and pay attention as both clubs have shown an interest in signing the player, along with Leeds United, according to the Yorkshire Post just before the international break.

Sam told Eurosport: “This is the trouble with the window coming in January.

‘I’m selling everyone apparently, then I’m asking them to play. The only one (who might move) is Liam Bridcutt. Everyone else I’m asking to come to the fight.”
