Chief executive Steve Walton and Marketing and Commercial Director Lesley Callaghan have departed Sunderland AFC after a joint 19 years working for the club combined.
It is a shame to see Walton leave the club as he always seem to have the clubs best interest at heart and spoke a lot of sense regarding transfers and future events for our club.
Niall Quinn told the official website safc.com: ‘I am deeply indebted to Steve and Lesley for the huge support they have given me during my time at the club. Their professionalism and commitement has helped us to take great strides both off and on the pitch.’
There has been no replacements announced and the decision is thought to be for commercial reasons.
