Danny Collins and Kenwyne Jones were on target to help Sunderland to a third successive win and earn themselves a place in the Team of the Week in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League.

Collins netted his first goal of the season and also contributed two tackles and two interceptions as the Black Cats moved further up the League. He moved 29 places to 127th in the Index with 238 points as a result after posting a season`s-best 32 points.

Jones (283) jumped 30 places to 88th as he scored for the second game in a row and he registered 39 points – his best away from home.

Jones is one of two Sunderland players in the top 100, goalkeeper Craig Gordon sitting 83rd with 286 points.

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
